Educators across Ohio are increasing the use of formative assessments, "assessments for learning" in their daily lessons. Using the data collected, teachers then differentiate their instruction and provide clear feedback to students on their growth toward  the learning targets. This workshop will allow teachers to network via a wikispace while going through the Battelle For Kids FIP modules. Two one hour face-to-face sessions are mandatory to ensure clear understanding of formative assessments. The culminating task is an action plan to embed formative assessments in the classroom.
